Installation of 30000 Extends Nosco’s Position as Healthcare Packaging’s #1 Digital Provider
Nosco and HP announced today the installation of a foundation system of the HP Indigo 30000 Digital Press for Folding Cartons. This will be the first Indigo 30000 to be installed by a Packaging Converter in North America. HP’s Indigo 30000 will further enable Nosco’s customers to improve cycle time and speed to market, lower inventory and obsolescence, and improve cost effectiveness on short to medium run folding cartons. The HP Indigo 30000 will expand the fit for Digital printing to larger order quantities and has the ability to produce variable data for serialization, personalization and brand protection.“The addition of the HP Indigo 30000 press furthers our position as Healthcare Packaging’s first digital provider. We have been utilizing Indigo press technology for over eight years, beginning with label production in 2004, and the latest installation furthers a highly successful relationship that has delivered immense value to our customers. We are excited about offering this technology to the Pharmaceutical, Natural Health and Personal Care Markets,” says
Russell Haraf, President of Nosco.
“Our new Indigo 30000 for Folding Cartons uses the same market-leading, high-quality, versatile printing technologies as our HP Indigo WS6000 series digital presses. For years, Nosco has utilized the Indigo technology to build a leadership position. We are excited to begin the next phase of expanding the benefits afforded by digital with an expanded format size to 29” x 21,” states Alon Bar-Shany, Vice President and General Manger, HP Indigo Digital Press Division. “Given the increased format size, speed, and versatility of the 30000, we can economically produce cartons while reducing cycle times from weeks to days. I am appreciative of Alon’s leadership and partnership with Nosco and his pro-active approach in listening to the voice of the customer. We are looking forward to stepping into the future of Digital Printing with HP and our clients,” adds Haraf.
